We’re Hiring
Full Time Associate Acupuncturist
Chico Community Acupuncture is seeking a dynamic team player who is looking for a
warm and professional work home.
Who are you?
You are passionate about Chinese Medicine and helping people feel better, meeting
them where they are in their health journey. You’re into collaborative healing with
patients, and good communication with a team. You want to be supported while you flow
in your zone of genius: providing excellent care to patients. You are an emotionally
mature professional who sees the value of working with a team rather than running your
own show and all the details that entails.
In short, you are an effective professional. You love Chinese Medicine. You enjoy
connecting with people and don’t find it “draining.” You aren’t interested in having or
starting your own practice now, or in five to ten years. You like having someone else run
the business side of things! You genuinely enjoy this work.
You are a licensed acupuncturist (or able to be) in the State of California. You are fluent
in English and are able to be insured.

Location
Chico California is a small city (population a little over 100,000) full of trees and creeks,
agriculture, and the arts. Chico has a lower cost of living compared to the rest of
California.
We have Chico State University which brings lots of performances and speakers.
Bidwell Park, one of the largest municipal parks in the country, has miles of hiking trails,
wild flowers, gorgeous creeks, and deep cool swimming holes for summer time fun. And
world class mountain biking.
We are at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, and have a commanding view up and
down the idyllic Sacramento Valley: The Coastal range, Mount Shasta and Mount
Lassen. You can be to San Francisco in less than two hours driving, or be into the
wilderness or skiing in less than two hours driving.
Getting around town is easy, low commute times, most often no traffic. Relatively flat
routes through town makes biking a breeze. Sierra Nevada Brewery brings world class
eating and entertainment and is always a fun stop for guests visiting from out of town.
Often moving to Chico is an offer of a slower pace, and lots of soil to plant the garden
you’ve been dreaming of.
Timing
We are looking for someone to start this position as soon as August, when school gets
back in session and all of our Chico families start their routines back up (including their
regular acupuncture treatments). If you’re the right fit, and your timing puts your start
date out further, we can work with you.
