In 2019, Chico Community Acupuncture became a 501(c)(3) non-profit. To align with how we do business…not for profit, but with a mission and vision for greater health in our community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide effective, affordable, accessible care with acupuncture to as many people as possible. Our vision is lots of people utilizing acupuncture, cupping, guasha, tuina, and herbal medicine to have less pain, greater health individually so that we can more peace and greater health as a community.

We are directly funded by the fees we charge for services.

We believe that acupuncture doesn’t have to be expensive to work.  We want to be a regular part of people’s healthy toolkit so that you can get as much acupuncture as they want for whatever their goals are, as easily as possible.

Community acupuncture is for the person who wants to take control of how they feel and improve their physical and emotional well-being, even if they don’t know exactly where to start.

It doesn’t matter what's going on in your life, or if you have a severe or mild condition.  Whatever you are coming into the clinic for, acupuncture will help you to reset and restore the body, mind, and spirit. Most people report deeper sleep, better digestion, and less stress. It helps you enjoy your life more.

Chico Community Acupuncture is part of a national cooperative of community acupuncture clinics called People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture (link opens in a new window).  As a member, Chico Community Acupuncture is committed to offering acupuncture in a group setting, providing accessible care, and using a sustainable social business model.  Although we are a non-profit, we are entirely funded by what you pay for your treatments. We are committed to the highest quality of care for our patients.
